Aly Tadros at Ocho at Hotel Havana. Laredo-born, Brooklyn-based singer-songwriter is playing select gigs to promote an upcoming album, “The Fits,” which is expected to be released in January. Her songs, which reflect her Latin and Middle Eastern heritage and political interests, are driven by a finger-picked nylon string tone. Tadros released her first album in 2009 and since then has toured the U.S. and Europe. Keep an eye out, too, for an upcoming documentary on her project band, the Sweetness. Music at 7 p.m. Free.
